Working primarily with the Executive Director, the Training &
Development Manager will oversee and deliver our educational workshops
for adults in workplace and capacity building settings. The Training &
Development Manager will take ownership of ShoutOut?s educational
programmes through content development and strategic approaches to
expansion and deepening of our programmes.
Beyond facilitation and organisation of educational workshops, the
Training & Development Manager will grow the role through the
development of educational resources, contribution to ShoutOut?s
communications and social media, and strategic input around
fundraising and programme development. The successful candidate will
be responsible for gathering and evaluating feedback from training
clients to continuously improve our programmes and measure our impact.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE/HAVE:
* Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, comfort in public
speaking, and experience delivering educational workshops to groups of
all kinds;
* Experience in tailoring, developing, and reviewing educational
content to deliver engaging and interactive sessions for workshop
participants;
* In-depth knowledge of LGBTQIA+ issues, experiences, and rights and
sensitivity to a diversity of these experiences;
* Experience in gathering data and feedback to understand the impact
of educational programmes and workshops
* Highly organised and self-motivated.
